Shadow of the Woodpile

In the forest, something has awoken: something that whispers to the mind of a twelve year old boy who just happened to be taking a shortcut home; something that demands ever increasing amounts of blood and wood to sate its appetite for carnage. Being drawn deeper and deeper into the vortex of violence that engulfs him, his impressionable mind becomes a willing slave to the creature that slithers within the branches and twigs. About the Author

William Todd Rose is a speculative fiction author currently residing in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He discovered his love of writing at a young age, but drifted away from the craft in his mid-twenties to follow other interests. Recently, he has re-discovered his passion for writing and has burst onto the underground horror scene with his short stories appearing in various small press magazines and anthologies. He is currently at work on his next novel.
