The man of her dreams is almost hers for keeps. Kristin ignores all signs of catastrophe brewing, and she can only dismiss the warnings for so long...

From Publishers Weekly

You've Been Warned is aptly titled. Patterson has produced dozens of bestselling thrillers, on his own and more recently with a stable of co-writers. But his latest seriously lacks excitement, and Kadushin doesn't do much to bring the audio version to life. Despite her exotic name and her background as a singer/composer, she sounds very much like a whiny waitress as she reads the mundane story about a supposedly talented photographer who works as a nanny for a wealthy family and falls into a fevered sexual involvement with the husband. Adding to the déjà vu withdrawals from the cliché bank are a series of nightmares featuring four body bags. She also sees—and talks with—dead people. Unfortunately, none of it adds up to a worthwhile listening experience. Consider this your warning. Copyright © Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

From AudioFile

Kristin Burns is a wannabe photographer who is just skirting success. Since a girl's got to pay the bills, she takes a job as a nanny to the children of a handsome businessman and his porcelain-cold wife. Of course, the inevitable happens--they fall in love. At least Kristin does, and that's when things get creepy. The female perspective of the story is well portrayed by Ilyana Kadushin. She has just enough of a frightened tremor in her voice to communicate the scariness of the situation that develops. When she describes the dead people Kristin sees, dead people who repeatedly warn her of danger, it sounds real. Kadushin's delivery is perfect, adding to the fear and ultimate despair of the story.
