About the Author

Yvette grew up in a small town called Cheektowaga, New York. Her parents instilled in her the love of learning, especially reading in particular. She discovered a love for science fiction, fantasy, and horror stories. She began to stay up evenings, catching the late night horror movies on Fridays and Saturdays. Flash forward years later to Houston, Texas where she works as a middle school Language Arts teacher. Yvette joined the Greater Houston Area Writing Project. Here she met other teachers who provided her with the encouragement and support needed to write a full length book. --This text refers to the paperback edition.
