About the Author

Michael McGuire ekes out an existence somewhere amidst the cornfields of the Midwest. Much like his spirit animal (the indefatigable possum), he lives a nocturnal life of quiet seclusion and questionable dining choices.  Whispers of Darkness is his first collection of short stories. He is currently working on a novel of gluttony, exuberant perversity, and the challenges of immortality. He insists it is not autobiographical.
