About the Author

As a kid, Kevin Kauffmann would spend most days creating worlds and adventures for action figures and old Transformers. After grabbing a degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, he decided that creating worlds should be more than a hobby.The Icarus Trilogy, a sci-fi tale about futuristic gladiatorial warfare, was Kauffmann's first series, but he has since gone on to tell stories in many different genres. His Forsaken Comedy is a dark fantasy trilogy about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and his latest, Ouroboros, has received high praise for its representation of hallucinogen use and self-destructive behaviors. In addition, Kauffmann has released an episodic Horror novel, The 616 Diaries, over social media and Inkitt, and while stuck inside during 2020, he did a live reading of an early version of the Misadventures of Rumpelstiltskin the Third, a series of interconnected fantasy short stories, over YouTube and Spotify. Along with a re-release of Ouroboros, a reimagining of that Rumpelstiltskin collection will soon be released through 25 & Y Publishing, the small press behind Surviving Tomorrow, which is a charity anthology that features 29 stories from bestselling and accomplished authors.Kauffmann is currently working on Abnormality, the first novel in his superhero saga, and Daytrippers, the first in a paranormal science fiction series following the events of Ouroboros, both of which are being developed through 25 & Y Publishing. He also plays a ton of Beat Saber, as evidenced by his other YouTube channel, and plans to stream if he ever gets a better computer and at least twice as much time.
