The Doppelganger (The Raven Archives)

"Abe! Abe!" Michael yelled frantically as his friend floated away. "Abe! ABE!" There was no response. The worst day of Michael's life was when his best friend fell into the river. And it was all Michael's fault. When they finally found Abe, he was nothing like the boy everyone knew. He didn't act the same. He didn't dress the same. And he definitely didn't care about hanging with his closest group of friends, the Bad Gnus. Had the trauma changed Abe forever? Was it the gold he had found during his near-death experience that made Abe act differently, or was it his newfound notoriety? Whatever it was, Abe's behavior wasn't just different. It seemed....sinister. All Michael & the Bad Gnus cared about was changing him back before he forever became...The Doppelgänger.

About the Author

Author Dr. I. Seymour Youngblood became obsessed with the macabre early in childhood. In his youth, he performed experiments on small, defenseless animals, forcing them to watch the scariest shows imaginable: Twilight Zone, Goosebumps, & of course Barney, that terrifying purple dinosaur. His findings were published in Lil' Psychopath Quarterly. When he grew older, he applied to Yell! Medical School were he graduated Magna Scream Loud-Y. After graduation, Seymour asked himself, and his imaginary friends, how could he influence children's lives, but for the worse? Naturally, he became a principal. At Pfearville Junior High, home of the Ravens, he documented what he saw everyday and titled his papers "The Raven Archives". These are those tales.
