This is the sequel to the Hunter's Paradox. Eric Hahn, with the angel-like and powerful creature known as Celestial by his side, has returned home to the province of Usora. With a new war threatening to engulf the entire world, the hunter and creature must work as one to survive. With the rest of the provinces of Plataea united together once more under a single banner, the flag of the tyrannical Order, Usora stands alone in what will be a multi-front war against monsters and men. Within the borders of the rebel province, the ancient counterpart to the Order of the Arcane Hunt known as the Preservation Coalition has reformed. Made up of many hunters who refused to fight by their dictator’s side, these men and women swore to protect humanity and put down the Order that once was the hope for mankind. Through this fighting with the Order, the true nature of the Holy Leader's intentions are discovered. It is with this dreadful discovery of an ancient threat that the fight turns to stopping the clock for all of Plataea from running out. While Eric and Celestial are fighting this frightful realization on the side of the Coalition, they both find themselves in the middle of a whole different fight: the one for each other. Their love is still a major taboo in the world. Because of this, and regardless of friend or foe, many would see to it that they are split up if their bond was truly discovered. With time running thin, the two know they need to keep fighting. They need to continue the fight not only for their lives, nor the lives of those around them, but instead to open everyone’s hearts to a newer and more beautiful era.
