Ji Tae Han, a North Korean Army officer, knows the truth; medical experiments have resulted in a terrible virus. Even as she fights to contain the outbreak, Ji Tae discovers their effort is futile; the pathogen is already loose. Aided by Ji Tae, Ben and his fellow survivors struggle to flee the epidemic and warn the world, only to learn there are forces that may welcome apocalypse.
