In a parallel world after the American Revolutionary War, a family was slaughtered by a demon. Against all odds, their daughter-Fiona McKinley managed to slay the beast and survived through cooking and consuming the meat of its remains. Not long after this, she was spirited away by the mysterious Alumina to her castle city of Sanctity. Traumatized and grieving, Fiona slowly learns of the unforeseen consequences of consuming demonic meat as her body begins to change and becoming a Dimidium. Thrust into a new environment with complete strangers both violent and benevolent while consumed with guilt, she must learn to adapt in order to survive as she attempts to reconcile her newfound demonic nature with her human soul.
