The Cottage

Sometimes the past is best left undisturbed, as Megs and Char discover. An old cottage by the beach proves more than photogenic to the magazine photographer and her writer friend. They become entangled in nightmares (complete with, perhaps, psychic wounds – perhaps not) and ghostly visions they cannot explain. Nor can they explain the eccentricities of their colleague as he spies an antique toy fire truck the women bring back after a return trip to the cottage. They wonder as he makes a hasty exit from their boss's office only to turn up later and disrupt their lives forever. Unknown to them, their eccentric colleague shares a common past with the cottage and its decades-old history of tragedy – a history that continues to accumulate as the body count rises.

About the Author

Ann Wilmer-Lasky lived for almost thirty years in sunny and shaky, southern California. She now lives in the UFO capitol of the world, Roswell, New Mexico, where she writes about strange things, including this paranormal multi-generational psycho-killer novel set up and down the coast of California. Other works available include "The Seasons of Sam Rock" (a 1940's detective novel, bordering on the paranormal with killer ravens), "The Chronicles of Acqueria: Blood Moon Treachery" (YA novel in the manner of Romeo and Juliet without the death scenes), "The Aurora Incident: A Novel" (about the friendship of an Earth boy and a gray-green alien from somewhere beyond the Orion Nebula), and The 25th Anniversary Edition of "The Castleweaver's Tales, Volume One" (a chapbook of dark, medieval poetry).
