Tom Daniels is an up and coming architect with a promising career. However, he’s looking for a change. His real love is not with designing new and sterile buildings of the modern world, but in restoration of the classics of the past. Houses rich with history, romance and sometimes tragedy. Tragedies that have left an imprint on the very fabric of the walls. The old Queen Anne house that Tom has been hired to restore is one such house. Located on a strip of land on the island chain of the Outer Banks, the estate has been left abandoned for years. Of course, there is a legend of a young girl still keeping vigil for her lost lover at sea. But that’s rather cliché for a seafaring area, isn’t it? Nothing to worry about. So Tom, with his new wife Holly in tow, head out for the new challenge. But Holly has misgivings. She recalls the horror that they faced just last year at Marnie’s estate, Honeysuckle Manor and wonders if there is more to the legend than anyone really is aware of. As she and Tom take on the restoration, strange scents and sounds lead them to the certainty that there is indeed a presence in the house. A tragic presence that keeps reaching out for help; for justice; for peace. But it is not alone. Keeping to the shadows another entity lurks, determined to maintain its dominion over the manor and its secrets. Secrets that have them all trapped in a house called Lavender Pointe.
