It's not every day you have to dig yourself out of your own grave, only to find out you have a hole in your chest, your hearts missing, you have no memory of your own name or past and you are in fact dead; but the Buried Man is having one of those days. After being recruited into a team of necromancer hunters calling themselves the Deadlanders, Skullion (an obsidian-clad skeleton), Merveya (a Lich illusionist) and the Buried Man all infiltrate a dark cult whilst at the same time try to piece the Buried Man's memory back together, but what he finds out maybe more horrifying than his current predicament. The Buried Man is the first book in the Orran adventure series and introduces the Deadlanders.
