The Well

A boy and his dog discover an old well in a field behind their newly bought house. With its' cracked sides and rusted top, it was a curious find until something lurches out and mauls the dog and terrifies the boy. He tells his family what happened, but nobody believes him until his father discovers the truth. Him and his son, Norman must find out what lurks within the embodiment of the old well.

About the Author

Duane was born in Brunswick, Maine on September 4th, 1973. He grew up in Freeport, Maine. He grew up reading horror, suspense, and his favorite novel is "Salem's Lot" by Stephen King. He loves reading and watching movies. He graduated from Freeport High School in 1992. He began writing at the age of twelve and has written and published numerous titles such as "Nightbeast" and "The Path."He also has published four poems and published stories in numerous anthologies. He has fifteen years of experience in various computer programs. He is the former founder and President of 'Horror Writers of Maine' and is the current operator of 'Horror Authors Alliance.' Duane also has been interviewed on radio, newspapers and numerous podcasts. He is married to his beautiful wife, Shelley and has two beautiful daughters, Madelyn and Savannah Coffill. He resides in Topsham, Maine. Duane is currently at work on his next book.
