11-year-old Simon Avery loves three things, in this order:Horror movies, science and horror movies. Just to be clear, he likes horror movies. Simon's staying with his grandmother in the outskirts of London, England, while his scientist dad is away on assignment. While exploring the attic, Simon comes across a trunk filled with some of his dad's old experiments. It isn't long before would-be monster maker Simon messes with the chemicals and accidentally transforms himself into an enormous, creepy creature! Steve lives in New York (the big part, not the little part) with his wife, two human children and three-legged wonder beagle, Loomis.
