--- WARNING: If you're easily disturbed this book is not for you. After effects might include: Life-long, trauma, feeling of 'WTF am I reading', and an enjoyable read---- A child views a hellish world as perfect, but at the same time he also attacked his best friend with a knife, so it might not be such a good thing...This is a tale of a young buy growing up in a rather toxic world. At the same time he's pathologically egocentric and searches for a deeper meaning in random eventssuch as the fact that he was: trampled by his schoolmates, neglected by his teachers, and abandoned by his parents and left to fend for himself. The interesting twist here is that his speculations actually do turn out to be true, which creates a very surreal adventure, showing you an example of magical thinking influencing reality.
