Death without cause is strange enough on its own, but three deaths separated over 39 years and with no decomposition in any of the bodies sends Shaw Falls into a turmoil. A skeptical chief of police seeks the aid of a psychic while an uptight minister and an eccentric old lady neighbor team up to send a diabolical creature back to the hell it slithered in from.

About the Author

Sherrill Wark is a former editor who designs print/digital books for Indie authors. She's the author of: How to Write a Book: Park It, Get to Work (non-fiction); Transplanted Heads: Your Muse Can't Write Worth Sh*t (blog); Death in l'Acadie: a Kesk8a story and Refuge in l'Acadie: a Kesk8a story (the first two of a planned six-book historical fiction series about life and often violent death in Acadia between 1680-1755 from the 1st Person viewpoint of a Mi'qmaw woman); Mostly of Love & the Perils Thereof: The Sequel and The Closet Hides a Set of Stairs (poetry). Sherrill has written several screenplays: The Soul Eaters (a sequel to Graven Images); Skin Eater (serial killer stuff); The Bus to Lo Siento (drama), top 10% (out of 600) in the 2013 Oaxaca Film Fest; and Colony Mars: The Dahlgrin Dilemma. Under her pseudonym Christina Crowe, she has published A Girl Dog's Breakfast, scary stories and rude poems and The Unkindest Cut: Short Creepy Movie Scripts.
