Windemere Lane

Spending every summer on the island with her grandparents, Alexandra McDonald, looked forward to nothing more than relaxing by the beach, cooking homemade meals and most of all independence from her overly protective parents. This year, however, was going to be unlike any other. She had never wandered off on her own to discover new territory, but this independent teen was determined to make memories that she had never made before. Brandi Laplante graduated from Eastern Maine Technical College in 2001, where she studied Culinary Arts. It was there that she also found her love for reading and writing. She grew up in a very orthodox family setting. Her father, Bruce Daniels installed the importance of understanding literature and the wonderful world of science-fiction. Brandi is a stay-at-home mother of three. She also is a proud step mother of three more. She resides in New England with her husband Kevin and their six children.
