Thylacine: An Environmental Horror Story

The Black Line was a genocidal war fought in the early 19th Century on the island of Tasmania south of the Australian mainland. It was vicious, deliberate and totally inexplicable. The indigenous population was blamed for horrific atrocities and the new colonists set about exterminating them.Unfortunately, the atrocities didn’t stop after the massacres were done. So, in secret the British rulers of the colony buried the problem deep. Not deep enough!
