Kit Fitzgerald just landed the job of her dreams in the country of her nightmares. The little village of Kelby, Ireland may seem quaint and welcoming to most but for Kit it just stirs up memories of the past; memories she’d rather forget. But with a commitment to stay at least two years she decides to embrace her new home and its customs and accepts an invitation from her new friends to the town’s annual Halloween festival, All Souls Night. The party is unlike any Halloween celebration she’s ever been to, with an ancient pagan ceremony to finish out the night. To Kit, walking between the massive fires is nothing more than a harmless ancient superstition, until things start to go wrong. A distant muffled giggle. A shadow just out of the corner of her eye. Is her little cottage haunted? It all seems innocent enough, but soon child’s play turns into a full storm of ghostly torment, leaving Kit scrambling for answers. With every passing day nightmares become more and more real, and her haunting becomes physical. Exactly what ceremony had she taken part in? What dark secrets does the little town of Kelby hold, and what exactly is going to happen to her if she doesn’t figure it all out before the following Halloween?
