About the Author

Ken Martin grew up in England and attended an all boy's school, where his heroes were mostly athletes; boxers, especially. He would read all the boxing magazines, newspapers and read all the boxing encyclopedias he could find. In his late teens he took to sports with a vengeance. He began boxing smokers where he did not lose a fight, and had his first amateur bout against a more experienced fighter and won in seven seconds. He went to the USA and he was offered a pro contract. Brittle bones in his hands cut his career short. His second career allowed him to travel the world negotiating contracts with governments. He currently resides in Seattle, Washington area. And while he says he does not believe in the spirit world, what is it about Englishmen that seem to write inherently about the supernatural? Phantom of the Ring has since been made into a screen play.
