Scott wasn’t exactly stalking her. Nope. He just couldn’t help but check up on her Facebook wall every day while online, his mind unable to accept the distance Holly had put between them. The fact that she has a new boyfriend named Ethan makes this even harder, a desire to know what they are doing together constantly getting the better of him. And then the status updates stop, the last one concerning a trip Holly was taking with Ethan to snap pictures of scarecrows for a college photo class. What happened? How can two college kids simply vanish? More important, how can the police be so disinterested in such a thing? Unable to get her out of his head, Scott decides to investigate things himself, his goal being to rescue the girl he loves from whatever horror she has stumbled upon so that they can be reunited. In Hollywood, such a thing would work out well, but in reality . . .
