There's something strange about Howards County, New Mexico. Located in the mountains outside of Albuquerque, the shadows are a little deeper, the trees bend under an unseen weight, and the nights hold ancient terror . . . Four friends decide to make the drive into the Sandia Mountains for some mountain biking. Instead of hitting the more common trails, they find an abandoned picnic ground with a network of horse trails and footpaths perfect for a challenge. They joke about how it sounds like the start of a cheesy horror movie. But no movie could ever prepare them for what they meet, and who they meet, lost deep somewhere within Howards County . . .
