For almost 100 years the house on Hilltop Drive has remained vacant after a tragedy had befallen the family that lived there. Legends remain of the mansion being haunted. For teenager Jan Kelley, that legend soon becomes her nightmare when she and a group of friends enter the mansion one evening on a dare. Jennifer Brinkle is a professional artist who has worked far too many jobs than one person ever should in a lifetime. In addition to her career as an artist, she has previously been published for her poetry and short stories. She is currently working on her second novel in between art shows.
