Valen is one of the most wretchedly miserable teen girls in all of Cumberland Lakes. Tormented each day by Gabby and her friends then sexually assaulted by Math teacher Mr. Clover she decides to take her own life. She leaves behind a letter to her best friend Reagan vowing that her bullies will pay. A year pasts and Monroe and her family moves into Valens old home. Shortly after being labeled the black sheep of Cardinal High Monroe befriends Reagan and Evan. Gabby begins her bullying rampage and Monroe is her victim. Valen's ghost begins to haunt Monroe's dreams causing her to sleepwalk venturing out into the night with no recollection of the events. When Gabby and Mr. Clover are found dead police rule their deaths as suicides. But are they?
