This is a truly creative book of a fictional detective who lived during the post-Victorian era and uses his skills as a detective, a self-trained hypnotist, and a psychic spiritual healer to solve unusual cases. The characters in each story are also fictional, but the methods used by the hypnotist are what we use in the clinics of today’s time and age. Charles, the detective, had accompanied his ambassador father worldwide since childhood and learned the secrets and knowledge of healing along with trance hypnotic states used by the Gurus, Tibetan Monks, the Shaman, and the Mayan healers. Each unique story, although separate, runs into each other as Charles uses his gifted work. Students of hypnosis as well as hypnotherapists, I am sure, will learn and understand each session that Charles conducts. This book is written in the mode of the Victorian era. It is easy to understand the sessions, and all of the characters and the collection of stories end together with a grand exciting finale.
