Heaven's Waiting Room

I was having one of those summers. Nothing was happening and time seemed to be dragging. What I didn't realise, was that time was in fact moving along rather quickly; I was just out of step. It's a funny thing. I had been stressing about whether or not to go to university, my parents, all the usual stuff, but I needn't have bothered. Life, or should I say, death, has a way of making those decisions for you. So, here I am. Heaven didn't want me and earth is just as scary for the dead as it is for the living. Do I know what I'm going to do with my life, sorry, my afterlife? Well, if they say life is for the living, this must be for the rest of us...

About the Author

From Hamilton in Lanarkshire, Clare has a History degree from Strathclyde University and now lives in London with her husband. Having spent some time trying to find some magic in various fields, she is now concentrating on her career as a writer. Clare was drawn to writing by her life long passion for reading and inventing stories. As a child, Clare loved nothing more than curling up on a window seat in her local library and being carried away by a magical story. A fantasy fiction fanatic, she has published two books in The Staff Wielder Series as well as writing other stories of a fantastical nature.
