Not Only the Dead

Not Only The Dead is a visceral poem-novella that follows one man's descent into madness as his life is torn to pieces as a result of a seemingly malicious haunting. It is written in the first person and is reminiscent of the early writings of Chuck Palahniuk. Not Only The Dead also uses irregular text formatting to move the story forward and create a sense of tension.

About the Author

Jim T. Gammill lives in Menifee, California with his wife and their two daughters. He has been a lifelong enthusiast of film and literature and is especially drawn to the Science Fiction and Horror genres. Jim has developed a unique outlook on life through his adventures as a professional soldier, an in-home consultant in the private sector, and most importantly a husband and father. It is with the colors of these experiences that he paints vivid worlds and multi-dimensional characters that seem to leap off the page and into the imagination of the reader.
