Three years after her boyfriend Zaine leaves her for dead and the vampire Nikolai turns her, Harper is ready for Justice. Ignoring Nikolai’s and the other’s warnings she begins appearing to Zaine in his nightmares. In the meantime, a young woman is found dead with her body drained of blood—clearly the work of another vampire. Suspecting Harper and fearing exposure, the other vampires start their own investigation. When Harper and one of the others turn up missing, Nikolai and the others realize the one they thought was dead may, in fact, be alive and looking for his own form of revenge. But what does Harper have to do with it, and how exactly is she involved?
