About the Author

Iain McLachlan was born in Scotland to a Scottish father and an Irish mother and raised in Northern Ireland. He has been all over the world and loves to travel. He runs his own business teaching First Aid and has spent nearly thirty years working pre-hospital. His interests are reading, rugby, ice hockey, biathlon and he is a qualified sailing skipper. Iain is just as happy sailing as he is walking in the Mourne mountains.Candice James is Poet Laureate Emerita of New Westminster BC and also an editor, writer, musician, and visual artist. She is the founder of the Royal City Literary Arts Society and the Fred Cogswell Award For Excellence in Poetry. She is a full member of the League of Canadan Poets and The Writers Union of Canada. She is also past president of the Federation of BC Writers and Royal City Literary Arts Society.
