A young woman leaves home in order to work as a maid, but soon finds herself learning more than she ever thought possible. As her knowledge and power grows, so does her love for the adorable apprentice with whom she trains. But there is an evil nearby. Will she gain her dream of becoming a sorceress, or will she marry Reginald? Or will she lose it all to evil?
