Three dead women, one dark night, a hillside funeral parlour and an inquisitive mothball maker. Here begins the start of this ghostly supernatural tale. It’s summer time and the night of the village dance. Lo Chen Yang should be with the girl he loves but instead he’s chosen to work, making mothballs in his hillside workshop. This will be a night he will never forget, that’s if he’s lucky enough to survive until morning. As three dead women are delivered to the funeral parlour next door, Lo witnesses one fall to the ground from the back of a horse-drawn cart. She is young, she is beautiful and she is... dead? Lo has his doubts, but he’s about to find out. A rich story filled with dark magic and nerve jangling action. Plenty of scares along the way in this kung fu, walking dead, Chinese ghost story. The girl with the jet black heart will delight all horror fans. Please be aware that this stand alone story forms part of a collection entitled ‘Fairytales For The Disenchanted’ which all have an adult theme which some readers may find distasteful or disturbing. Consider yourself warned.... Now lets take a walk together into the deep dark woods....
