At sometime during the night I was suddenly awoken and found myself being held tightly in mothers arms. From outside the bedroom window there came a horrible noise, as if something evil was coming through the forest. My father soon appeared at the bedroom door. Rushing in he took me from my mother’s arms and led me to a small hidden room behind the fireplace.
