The Key of The Storm

The Key of the Storm raises the curtains on the darkly provocative trilogy, Through the Mirror Darkly.Comforted by a powerful mystic as he observes the grisly conclusion to his death, DW Storer's autobiographical antihero is taken on a journey of classical proportions, as he absorbs, celebrates, and ultimately confronts lessons learned during the dawning of his afterlife.Set in a timeless astral plane that is home to an exotic array of gods, kings, queens, ferocious beasts, historical figures and tortured souls, Storer includes factual accounts of his spiritual development and encounters with entities, both benign and malevolent, to reinforce his central tenet that even the most finely tuned will is susceptible to otherworldly temptation. From United KingdomBrackenBW5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful read with twists and turns.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 January 2013Verified PurchaseI particularly loved the style of writing...........this guy is a very good wordsmith! The descriptions of scenarios were brilliant, to the point where I would reread certain sentences because they sounded so beautiful. I loved the storyline and how it went back and forth and the poems. It didnt take me too long too read and I would have read it even quicker had it not been for life taking over. The book wasnt as I expected.............it was even better. When I have the time I shall be reading it again! I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy mysterious and spiritual stories. It is beautifully written with poetic areas in each chapter and also a particularly useful section at the back which explains what all the quotes mean. All in all a very good read with twists and turns and written in a very beautiful and descriptive way5.0 out of 5 stars the key of the storm ; american reviewReviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 December 20115.0 out of 5 stars The Key of the Storm, January 15, 2012By Linda E. It's a powerful account of a man either plagued or gifted with visions and mystical experiences and his, at times frustrating, attempts to comprehend them. For those of us who have experienced the mysteries created when adjacent realms of existence intersect with ours, The Key of the Storm is a powerful book. Part prose, part poetry, the journal is written in a slightly archaic voice that is entirely natural to the context and interspersed with fine illustrations. In the In Between, we encounter gods, goddesses, and other souls. This book will appeal to mystics, shamans, and seekers, but it's really for all of us who need to understand what lies beyond this plane of existence and what may happen to our souls once we reach the In Between. It's the story of the soul and it's journey through birth, death, and rebirthTroy Breimon5.0 out of 5 stars A very very fun read and unique writing style of true paranormal experiences.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 November 2017A very very fun read!
