In the fields and sloughs on the outskirts of a small Midwestern town, terror roams. Their calls can be heard echoing across the landscape in the dark of night, their large packs roaming through the streets of the town in search of prey any prey. Coyotes is the story of a small, Midwestern town that is terrorized by several large packs of coyotes over a two-year period after the local deer herd is decimated by the Conservation Department because of Chronic Wasting Disease and the efforts of the town and its people to deal with the ever-increasing population of predators that are now without their natural prey to feed on. Written in a believable manner, it is filled with terror and suspense that will cause you to dread the coming of night.
