When Carla met Alfred Montgomery, a portly English parapsychologist, her first instinct was to silently ignore his "science." And then the bizarre deaths began. Carla was soon to learn that Alfred was their only hope of saving Emma from her destructive courseif it wasn't too late. It reads like a first-rate movie thriller.
