An eternal creature named Dianne preaches the first sermon, a dark and malignant pope teaching lessons on food and the virtues of hunting it yourself. The second concerns the real story of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow, not the stolen and bastardized version presented to the public by Washington Irving. The next story, 'Nightcrawler', tells the story of another eternal creature, this one not nearly so human as the inhuman Dianne. 'Red Father' relates the story of Santa Claus in a way you've never heard before and never will again. 'The Comfort of the Shriek' rounds out the volume, a sermon about patience; those things that have it, and the people who don't. Some of the things said about these stories include:'Nightcrawler' - "A bloody and often horrific tale, but it is undeniably gripping. The twist at the end is truly horrible, and takes the story higher still on the horror scale. Recommended, if not for the squeamish."'The Comfort of the Shriek' - "Wow. Just... wow! I was truly impressed by this story, the way it blended madness with possibility, the reality and despair of the situation that the reader finds themselves stumbling through."'Red Father' - "Dark Christmas story. Awesome imagination. Creepy creepy....I loved it!"'Headless' - "Needless to say, the supposed "real story" is quite a bit more gruesome than the original. Very entertaining story. I will be looking at other works by the author."'Black Shark Soul' - "Deliciously gruesome and naughty...ADULTS ONLY!"
