Kate Robinson lands a dream job – production assistant to a TV advertising film shoot in the Caribbean. What can go wrong? Plenty, starting with the star of the commercial, Jasmine, vain and full of attitude, who takes an instant dislike to Kate and sabotages her at every turn. Then a shocking voodoo artefact appears in Kate’s bed. There’s something sinister about the island, too, where expat Brits have taken over the local church and exert a powerful hold on the local people. Mayhem, witch-doctoring, conspiracy and finally gruesome murder overtake Kate and her hapless film crew. Kate’s only ally against the dark forces assailing them is Theo, a cheerful gap-toothed Rastafarian. Kate and Theo battle for their sanity and their lives as the action builds to a pulse-pounding climax.
