A family vacation cabin in South Lake Tahoe becomes a longed-for romantic retreat for Private Eye Ginger Frye and her significant other, Lt. Detective David Hernandez, for a memorable Valentine's Day in the snow. All looks rosy until they discover a frozen figure in Tadasana, Tree Pose, during a cross-country ski outing. What first appears to be a frosty blue sculpture turns out to be the real thing and the couple's idyllic love nest catapults into another unsolved mystery. Leaving Ginger in the capable hands of Sheriff Dan Swift--and the not so capable hands of Bikram wannabe yoga instructor Stanley Ing-- David is forced to return to duty in Portland while Ginger learns more about the Washoe Indians and the Lake than she ever imagined she could--and the knowledge turns into a deadly encounter.
