Elizabeth Michaels is desperate to leave her past behind. Unfortunately, it seems the only way to do so is to move in with her reclusive aunt in Middleton, AKA the most boring town ever. Only, life in Middleton isn’t as boring as Beth thought it was going to be. Unless you consider being stalked and haunted in your own room as uneventful. Not to mention the missing girls that seem glaringly similar to gazing into a mirror. While Beth attempts to make sense of these unsettling and seemingly random incidents, she finds that her new school has more than a few of its own distractions, starting with the two cute guys that are showing her attention. However, the more parts of the puzzle Beth puts together, the closer she comes to realizing that she may be the center piece. And if she’s not careful, her piece might just go missing.
