Abraham Luther is a superhero. At least he's supposed to be. He's reluctant to accept that title, certain that there's a villain inside of him just waiting for a moment to justify nefarious deeds. Meanwhile Ryan Hoedemaeker is a recent high school graduate who had little direction in his life. His outlook changes when he narrowly escapes a forest of dark secrets, along with his ill grandfather. Over time the two of them learn that there truly are monsters in the world, which they will have to inevitably face. What is most frightening of all is that someone or something may be deciding their destinies for them.
