New York has been lost. The army's ranks have been decimated. Any hope of freedom is all but gone. This is where George Washington finds himself, with the American Revolution teetering on absolute failure. It is only at America’s darkest hour that a new weapon falls into the hands of the Continentals. With this new weapon they hope to turn the tide of the war, but first it must be moved from its current location with great haste and in absolute secrecy… but how? Bernard and Daniel Quigley, a pair of streetwise young thieves, care nothing for the politics or warfare happening in 1777 America. That is until one day when their crimes turn against them and they find themselves press-ganged into the service of the Continental Army. Warned never to open it, they are charged with transporting this dangerous new weapon from Philadelphia to the Continental High Command in upstate New York. Their journey is mundane enough, but when a surprise attack by the British accidentally unleashes the weapon all hell breaks loose. Bernard and Daniel are shocked when the now open weapon begins turning everyone it comes in contact with into blood crazed walking corpses. With the Continentals quickly losing ground and the presence of these un-dead creatures, Bernard and Daniel find themselves in a race against the clock – and the most ruthless officer the Crown has ever known – to deliver the weapon and put an end to the war. With the freedom of an entire nation hanging in the balance, Bernard and Daniel must risk everything to deliver the package whilst trying to survive the un-dead beasts it has unleashed.
