Vera Geist has never been a big believer in the spirit world, and the several dozen 'haunted' houses she's stayed in for her job at Ghost World Weekly haven't done much to change her mind.She arrives at the latest one expecting to do the same things she does every time -- take some photos of the house, listen to the family describe the 'ghost' living there, and collect data from the 'ghost-detection' equipment provided by the magazine.Instead, she finds herself dealing with a trio of squabbling mediums, a house full of hidden secrets, disturbing visions... and murder.Now, in the midst of an ongoing murder investigation, Vera must figure out if the ghostly figure she's been seeing is real -- or if she's just losing her mind.
