Dark Heritage: The Stollenberg Vampires

When her vampire husband George Stollenberg vanished from Dunville, Massachusetts two years ago, Nina failed to discover what had happened to him. Unsure whether he left her for another woman or fell victim to foul play, she has placed her eternal life on hold, unable to let go of the past. Now Nina has returned to Dunville, determined to find out the reason for her husband’s disappearance so she can achieve closure and move on. But as Nina’s maker-husband George was the only vampire of Stollenberg lineage in North America, it is all up to her—there is no one she can call on to help figure out what’s happened to him.Things begin to change, however, when Nina decides to attend a program on the vampire legends of New England at the town’s historical society. There, she encounters Rachael Parkhurst, a young woman of Stollenberg descent who recites a local tale that Nina knows well, the story of how George’s grandfather supposedly killed a vampire long ago in the 1850s. But even as she is listening to Rachael’s words, Nina is aware that she might not be the only undead person hearing them. The pale, bearded gentlemen with the old-fashioned suit who is sitting in the first row doesn’t look human to Nina, and neither did the odd little blonde who was watching him from the hall and then disappeared.As the lecture ends and Nina rises to entrance Rachael so she can question her, she will finally begin to unravel the mysteries of the Stollenberg vampire clan and the secret life of her missing George. But can she cope with the dark truths that she will uncover?
