Cryptures

Clark Masson has maybe one or two good years left-if he is lucky. Knowing his time on earth is limited, Clark makes it his mission to retell the events of one week during the summer of 1948 in Dead Plains, a now nonexistent town where Crazy Pete, gold miner, hero, and guardian of a secret, shares stories with a group of boys all too eager to listen. In his collection of ten dark tales, Jw Grodt leads others down a macabre path where monsters, invaders, and the most frightening and deadliest creature of all-human beings-live. Stanley Portchec is a family man on his way home from work when he passes an abandoned truck and unwittingly transforms his existence. Abra Scott is living a seemingly happy life, until the day she and her fiancé decide to ignore the 'no trespassing' signs and spend the night on Deadman's Beach. As a four-person crew sets sail on an adventure to explore the sea, no one on board has any idea what perils await them. Cryptures shares a collection of spine-tingling tales sure to entertain anyone who loves a compelling mystery or a scary story to tell around the campfire.
