Imagine a perfect start to a Friday. Then, after a long day of driving, you stop for gas and a snack. Okay, so far, but it won't be long before everything starts to deteriorate rapidly. Your truck gets stuck on a rarely used backroad in the fiercest snowstorm you've ever seen. What could possibly be worse than this? How about the ghost that appears out of the storm and warns you to stay out? DO NOT ENTER…      The house down by the creek is empty except for the old woman. She died forty-three years ago on the October anniversary of her husband's death. She loved that old place, and the house never wanted her to leave. So, she didn't, and sometimes—especially Octobers—she will stand just inside the open door and welcome the rare visitor…the lost traveler looking for shelter from the night.
