To lighten the topic which some readers may find a bit grim or morose, I sometimes inject humor into my stories when I feel it is warranted, or when I can get away with it. I assure you that I never mean to speak ill of the dead and I ask that you accept my humor in the ‘spirit’ in which it is intended. I hope you will enjoy these stories as much as I did writing them. Oh, and, just a cautionary thought: Spirits are everywhere!
