Bottles On A Shelf

In 1425, Nika and Mico, discovered in the act of fornication, are stoned to death in accordance with tribal law. Some six centuries later, Martine and Nick, through a web of mystical revelations, come to believe they are Nika and Mico, reincarnated. Nika and Mico are believed to wander the afterlife in a tortuous state, seeking peace and rest for their souls. They are also believed to be responsible for a series of murders on the island in which couples guilty of infidelity have been stoned to death. Martine and Nick attempt to find a solution which would restore peace to the souls of their spiritual counterparts in an absurd world in which their search for knowledge and understanding becomes their worst enemy.Literary fiction with a taste of the supernatural, set in the Caribbean, referencing love between soul mates.
