Miss Lucy's Secret: Don't Tell Jamey (Jamey Hart Adventures) (...

Grady Pruunes’ hard work and dedication to bring a murderer to justice, is rewarded when he is promoted to the office of Cypress County Detective. The promotion is complete with pay increase and vacation, but little does he know the challenges that lie ahead. A small Southern county should not normally encounter a UFO and a missing girl in the first week. Then comes a hit and run that takes a young boy’s life, and the hunt for a most wanted fugitive. Grady is fortunate to have help from young Jamey Hart and his ghost friend, Miss Lucy. Ten dead people in less than a week would be totally unthinkable, but there is something else that is so ugly that Miss Lucy says, “Don’t Tell Jamey.”

About the Author

Author Jimmy Beard was born and raised in the South Carolina Lowcountry. He was at home with black water and mossy trees, so it seemed only natural that he choose that setting for his writing, which began with his retirement. He is married to Laura and they have four beautiful children together. He is a retired air conditioning contractor and loves to travel, especially to the Lowcountry. His first work was Colson Creek, followed by Miss Lucy's Ghost, and soon to be released Miss Lucy's Secret. He has not decided whether to continue The Jamey Hart Series or choose another theme.
