The Blood Heir Chronicles: Origins

Upon receiving a vision of his nephew forced into following in his family’s footsteps of protecting the world from evil, John Salvatore sets out to change the future before Dominic’s time comes. After learning that the coming apocalypse was to be led by Zähd Wüarbaer, an ancient warrior from Hell and adversary to the Salvatore bloodline, John races against the clock to change the future. Starting his journey in the spring of 1999, John leaves his five year old nephew, the next blood heir to be trained by his brother, Steven, for if John failed in his mission, Dominic would have to be ready to face Zähd. Though time is but a blink of the eye for the near immortal, John Salvatore as he searches for a way to stop Zähd before he can being his conquest of Earth, Dominic trains away, ignorant to the greater threats around him.Short on time and uncertain of where, when or how Zähd would make his march onto Earth, John reaches out to his old friends Abraham and King in search of help. With the assistance of some new recruits Michael and Gabriella, John chases Zähd’s trail across Earth and Hell in an attempt to stop him. From Eastern Europe to California and the Mediterranean regions of Africa, John hunts down lead after lead to learn of Zähd’s plans. Though through defeat after defeat, John finds it harder and harder to not to look into the future for answers. For the more one peers into that which is yet to occur, the more mad one becomes. But with a touch of insanity and a leap of faith, John unleashes an all out war against the forces of Hell in a last ditch effort to stop Zähd from creating the weapon he needs to take Earth and to save Dominic from carrying on his burden.
