Ephalon - Shackles of Enterra (Ephalon - medieval arc)

Almost a full year has come and gone since the Battle of Turnpike, its recount unlike the horrid events thirty years prior has spread far and wide. For once, the populace feels the direct consequences of a globally significant event. Many loved ones were lost in that awful battle, but above all, the emergence of Coalescence, an enemy wearing the guise of a former friend, has put our two heroes on edge.A hundred years have passed since the death of Celestus Arramore, the former Dragon Queen-Empress; yet, only as recent as the last two months, her daughter Selene started hearing an indiscernible voice whispering to her from the peek of Mount Arramore, beckoning her into the Celestial Grotto. No one else can perceive the estranged voice's words, but it remains undeterred, scratching at the back of her mind. Two threats still walk the lands of Erafar; first, the newly established Coalescence, whose intentions are clear, but methods remain hidden. The hero duo has not even heard so much as a whisper on the winds about her activities. This has led Selene and her partner to assume the worst, in that she's amassing an army of the foul creatures known as the Aquinty. However, the second threat, the vindictive Cenebrian Grandmaster Maeyl, remains unaccounted for. Selene and friends believe him to be in wait, biding his time for the perfect opportunity to strike. With these dangers lurking around every corner, Selene and Riptor have a massive task ahead; they need to unite west-Erafar under one banner. To fail now is to invite endless despair.Ephalon - Shackles of Enterra is the third and final instalment in the Ephalon medieval arc trilogy. The epic conclusion to the heroes tale that started over fifty years ago.

Thank you for returning to Ephalon once again. I'm happy to know your curiosity isn't fully sated yet. I won't share too many details this time as the first chapter starts off with a short recap of events up until this moment. I can't say I envy Riptor and Selene's predicament. They've been through so much in their lifetime, enough suffering to supply the world a hundred times over. However, the path of broken glass is coming to an end. These two are about to face the greatest challenge of their lives. They are going to fight against Fate itself, and one way or another, for good or for worse, things will finally end. For your convenience, at the back of the book, there's a character list. It denotes the appearance of all the significant characters in chronological order. Remember not to read too far ahead in it, or you'll spoil the story! Please enjoy the epic conclusion to the Ephalon - medieval arc trilogy.
